Jeff Rothenberg
Board Member

With degrees in electrical engineering and law, Jeff Rothenberg co-founded and, from 2001 - 2013, served as the managing partner of Heslin Rothenberg Farley & Mesiti, the largest intellectual property law firm in upstate New York.
Jeff’s forte — strategic planning in the creation, commercialization and management of intellectual property portfolios — was founded upon his prior experience as manager of a corporate patent and licensing department. In 1996, a patent he procured for the Eastman Kodak Company received the US National Inventor of the Year award.
In 2017, Jeff and his wife, Anne, joined their children and grandchildren in Israel, full time.
Jeff serves as the volunteer Coordinator of Explore & More Israel Educational Tours providing unique, in-country, educational, travel experiences for Anglo-Israelis.
His love of nature is reflected in his extensive home garden and his support for JGF. In 2025, Jeff chaired JGF's 10th anniversary celebratory dinner. He is also helping to organize JGF's new Experiential Learning Program "EcoJerusalem" - offering a dynamic, field-based exploration of Urban Nature, Sustainability, and Environmental Stewardship in the Jerusalem Region.
