The Jerusalem Green Fund invites you to join the Jerusalem Green Business Forum — a community of local businesses that are becoming more efficient, saving resources, strengthening their connection with the community, and keeping our city green and healthy!

Who We Are

The Jerusalem Green Fund (JGF) works to promote environmental, social, and economic sustainability in Jerusalem and its surrounding areas by supporting community initiatives. The Fund collaborates with Jerusalem’s diverse communities and reaches out to friends of Jerusalem around the world.

How Does It Work?

Fill out a questionnaire – We’ll learn about your business’s current operations and identify opportunities for improvement together.
Create a customized action plan with us – Together we’ll define practical steps in four key areas:
- Energy efficiency
- Water conservation
- Waste reduction
- Community engagement
Implementation – Each business is responsible for carrying out at least one step in each area, with our guidance as needed and with the process tailored to the business.
Receive the “Green Business” designation – Businesses that complete the steps will be recognized as Green Businesses and join the forum.
Meeting an international sustainability standard may qualify a business for automatic recognition and forum membership.
Branding, marketing, and promotion – Recognized businesses will be featured through the Fund’s channels as certified Green Businesses and will receive both a physical and digital certificate to display on-site and online.
Ongoing support – You won’t be left on your own! Together we’ll track actual savings and the impact of the implemented actions. Forum meetings will also enable collaboration and idea-sharing among businesses and with municipal representatives.
Invitation to the Municipal Business Committee – Businesses that join the process will be invited to meet relevant decision-makers at City Hall and help shape the ongoing development of the forum.
